XRGB (Baselit): The LED sits inside the hilt and shines into a hollow blade. This construction is lighter, easier to maintain and generally the better choice for frequent or heavier-contact dueling.
Xenopixel: Addressable LEDs run through the blade for brighter edge-to-edge illumination, scrolling ignition and richer blade effects. It is best suited to cosplay, display, filming and light-to-moderate contact.

Which core should I choose for dueling?

Choose XRGB (Baselit) when repeated or heavier-contact dueling is the priority. Xenopixel blades contain internal electronics, so they are better for light-to-moderate sparring unless the individual product explicitly carries a higher dueling rating.
